VISI.NEWS | BANDUNG – Apple Inc. is reportedly preparing a major push to re-enter the artificial intelligence (AI) race after falling behind competitors like Google, Microsoft, and OpenAI. According to a recent Bloomberg report, the Cupertino-based tech giant is developing a lineup of innovative devices aimed at reviving its competitiveness in the global AI market.

One of the key highlights is a significant overhaul of its virtual assistant, Siri. Apple is said to be launching a new version of Siri that is far more interactive, responsive, and capable of understanding conversational context with greater accuracy. The upgrade will reportedly leverage advanced in-house language models, blending generative AI capabilities with Apple’s device ecosystem.

In addition, Apple is rumored to be working on several new products, including:

1. Home Assistant Robots-Designed to help with household tasks, provide information, and interact much like a human.

2. Next-Generation Smart Speakers Integrated with touch displays and high-quality video calling support.

3. Smart Security Cameras-Equipped with AI to detect suspicious activity in real time.

While these plans are ambitious, some analysts warn that Apple may be arriving too late to the “AI party,” which is already dominated by established players.

Apple slower adoption of generative AI in recent years has allowed its rivals to build more mature ecosystems and user bases.

If these innovations fail to capture market interest or lag behind in technology, Apple risks repeating the missteps of some of its past products that struggled in the premium segment. However, if successful, this move could mark a turning point that restores Apple’s dominance in the AI era.
